Brian Sooy has contributed to The Information Design Handbook, by Jennifer Visocky-O'Grady.

The book showcases the work of more than 35 design teams from around the world in this book—"all "I wish I made that!" kind of stuff," states Visocky-O'Grady, a design professional and design educator from Cleveland, Ohio.

The book is being distributed in Europe by Rotovision, and in North America by F+W Publications.  The Information Design Handbook celebrates designs that are exemplars of communication and aesthetics, and reveals the thought processes and design skills behind them. This comprehensive guide to creating information graphics is packed with essential design principles, case studies, color palettes, trouble-shooting tips, and much more.

Featured in a two-page spread is the Lucerna Bible typeface project, a commissioned font for the New Living Translation Bible from Tyndale Publishers.  The work on Lucerna has been extensively documented in several publications, web sites and periodicals.

Brian Sooy is the principal designer for Altered Ego® Fonts, a leading digital type foundry. Æ Fonts are distributed by Adobe, Monotype Imaging, Veer, Myfonts.com and other distributors worldwide.  Sooy+Co. has been commissioned by Ernst & Young, Telarc International, The Cleveland Museum of Art, National City and others to create custom font solutions and custom type designs.
